Aaron T. Beck, M.D. receives a Forum Lundense Award for outstanding contributions to the science and practice of psychotherapy. Dr. Beck presented and held a videoconference at Lund University, in Lund, Sweden. Dr. Beck discussed the interface between neurocognition and negative attitudes in schizophrenia (event highlights).

About Beck Institute
Dr. Aaron Beck and his daughter, Dr. Judith Beck, founded the non-profit Beck Institute for Cognitive Therapy and Research in suburban Philadelphia in 1994, to establish national and international training programs in Cognitive Therapy, frequently referred to as Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), for health and mental health professionals and educators at all levels of experience and expertise. Another mission has been to help create or improve cognitive behavior therapy programs at universities, hospitals, community mental health centers, health systems, and other organizations. The Beck Institute also provides clinical care and research consultation.
